Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Works I read the negative reviews here before buying this product but wasn't deterred. S.C. Johnson and the Raid brand have been around for a very long time so I figured it wouldn't be a bad bet. I bought and used three cans of Raid Flea: Carpet and Room for a bad infestation in a ground-floor, three-bedroom apartment, with cats. Worked like a charm. But being a senior in the sunbelt, and having always had cats, I've had lots of flea infestations before (over 40 years) and tried pretty much all the alternatives. Though not Raid before. Very effective. Those who are disappointed are perhaps not familiar with fleas and where you have to spray. Nor with the problem of re-infestation. It's almost impossible to get every flea and every larva all at once. You have to remain vigilant and zap them again if they come back. But the three cans of Raid Flea: Carpet and Room did a very good job and the fleas have not yet returned. If they do, I'll fog 'em with the Raid flea fogger, which I also haven't used before. BTW, I am in no way connected to Raid or to S.C. Johnson. Nor am I one of these people who post positive (or negative) reviews for some kind of pay. I'm telling the truth and hoping to add some balance here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually kills the fleas and keeps them away. Before finding this product, I had an infestation that was out of control that I inherited from the previous tenants. We suffered for two years trying everything possible. After the first application, the problem was 95% gone within days. Within two weeks, we forgot what fleas were. Now I just continue maintenance applications through the peak seasons and I am happy. This is the only product I have found that kills eggs and larvae thus effectively disrupting the life cycle and eliminating the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best on the market Wasted hundreds of dollars trying other products to no avail. Spent $30 on 3 cans of this and it INSTANTLY killed the fleas in my carpet and furniture. It's been 12 hours and I've only seen 3 fleas which I'm 99% sure jumped off of my cats. Flea bath and a re spray today to make sure they're 100% gone. Money well spent. Thanks Raid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best I have used this for years or rather years ago. I used to use it as maintenance program, when every one else was complaining about fleas or flea problem. I had none. along with using flea drops and this on a regular basis no problem. however this year being at the worst for me in about 10 plus years have been looking for this particular item in the local stores. The other stuff that includes 'bed bugs' WASTE of money and time! this product really works for me. now I have off to the store now that I know which store to go to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have my house back For 6+ weeks I have been battling fleas. First time ever having a problem. I have an indoor cat and can't imagine how we got infested but we did. I bomb the house 2 different times and went through various cans of 'spray (that included fleas on the label along with other insects) Vacuumed 2+ times a day, but nothing worked. Felt like I was turning my house into a toxic chemical waste site! I've treated my cat but I'm going to have to get some frontline (the other treatment was hartz) because I'm still finding fleas on him and don't want a re-infestation.Anyway I did research online and read some reviews about Raid Flea Plus Carpet and Room. Finding it though was another story. I finally tracked some down in an adjoining town and grabbed a can. I came home and sprayed all the areas affected and left. When I came home 3 hours later, I put my white socks on and walked through the house, sat down, held my breath and examined my socks. NOT ONE FLEA. I can't believe it! I sprayed the house again today (just for good measure). This spray works! Don't waste your money on anything else! I can't say enough about it. LMCMissouri

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked for a day I've done everything possible vacuum a couple times a day picked up anything possible on the floors turned furniture up on its side. Then I used the raid carpet and room did as instructed per the can. The ones that are in my place now are tiny adult fleas as in fresh hatch. Your product says it kills them once hatched. I've bought two cans of this now spent 20$ and really haven't seen the results the can says
